Welcome to Heaven and Heritage. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided by Heaven and Heritage, including Jim Corbett safari bookings, resort and hotel bookings, travel assistance, and destination wedding and event management services.

By accessing our website or booking any service through Heaven and Heritage, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing heavenandheritage.com or using any service provided by Heaven and Heritage, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all customers, guests, travellers, event clients, and other users who engage with Heaven and Heritage.

2. Safari Booking Terms

Jeep & Canter Safari

Heaven and Heritage provides assistance and facilitation for wildlife safari bookings in Jim Corbett National Park.

Facilitation Role

Heaven and Heritage acts as an intermediary/facilitation agency assisting customers with safari permit bookings and related arrangements. Safari permits are issued and controlled by the relevant Forest Department and government authorities.

The availability, issuance, allocation, cancellation, and validity of safari permits are subject to government rules and forest department regulations.

Permit Rules

Safari permits are issued by the concerned government authorities and are generally subject to availability and applicable booking rules.

Once processed or issued, permits may be non-transferable, non-amendable, and non-refundable, as determined by the applicable forest department rules.

Heaven and Heritage does not have authority to modify or override government-issued permit rules.

Mandatory Identification

Guests must carry the original valid photo identity document used at the time of booking, such as:

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Passport

  • Voter ID

  • Driving Licence

  • Other government-approved identity documents

The name and identification details must match the booking information as required by the forest authorities.

If entry is denied because a guest fails to produce the required identification or the details do not match, Heaven and Heritage shall not be responsible for the resulting loss or inconvenience.

Failed Permit Booking

If a requested safari permit cannot be generated because of non-availability, government system failure, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Heaven and Heritage, the applicable permit amount may be refunded after deducting a ₹500 service facilitation charge per permit, where applicable.

Any refund remains subject to the actual amount received and applicable government or booking-system rules.

Zone Allocation & Vehicle Assignment

Safari zones, routes, entry gates, vehicle allocation, driver allocation, and other operational decisions are controlled by the Forest Department and authorised authorities.

Customers cannot demand a particular zone, vehicle, route, driver, or wildlife sighting unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Weather & Forest Closures

Safari operations may be affected by:

  • Heavy rainfall

  • Storms or extreme weather

  • Forest fires

  • Landslides or floods

  • Government orders

  • Wildlife protection measures

  • Temporary or permanent zone closures

  • Other forest department restrictions

Such circumstances are beyond the control of Heaven and Heritage.

3. Resort & Hotel Booking Terms

Advance Payment

A minimum 50% advance payment of the total accommodation amount may be required at the time of booking to confirm and block the rooms.

The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of booking.

Specific properties may have different payment and cancellation policies, which shall apply to the respective booking.

Hotel & Resort Rules

Guests are required to follow the rules and policies of the respective hotel or resort, including:

  • Check-in and check-out timings

  • Identification requirements

  • Occupancy restrictions

  • Property usage rules

  • Food and beverage policies

  • Pool and recreational area rules

  • Pet policies, where applicable

  • Other property-specific regulations

Heaven and Heritage is not responsible for penalties or additional charges imposed by a hotel or resort due to a guest’s violation of its rules.

Property Damage

Any damage, breakage, loss, or misuse of hotel or resort property caused by a guest shall be the responsibility of the guest.

The guest may be required to pay the applicable compensation or repair/replacement charges directly to the hotel or resort management.

Availability & Room Allocation

Room availability, room category, views, upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and specific room allocation are subject to the policies and availability of the respective property.

4. Destination Wedding & Event Services

Heaven and Heritage provides destination wedding and event management services according to the scope agreed with the client.

Scope of Services

Depending on the selected package, services may include:

  • Venue selection

  • Resort and hotel booking

  • Wedding decoration

  • Theme design

  • Floral arrangements

  • Stage setup

  • Catering

  • Guest accommodation

  • Transportation and logistics

  • Hospitality management

  • Pre-wedding functions

  • Mehendi and Haldi

  • Sangeet

  • Wedding ceremony

  • Reception

  • Event coordination

The exact services, deliverables, quantities, vendors, and pricing shall be based on the proposal or agreement accepted by the client.

Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard wedding payment schedule shall be:

  • 30% token amount at the time of booking

  • 50% payable 45 days before the event

  • 20% payable on the event day

Failure to make payments according to the agreed schedule may affect vendor confirmations, venue availability, accommodation, or other event arrangements.

Third-Party Vendors

Wedding services may involve independent third-party vendors, including:

  • Hotels and resorts

  • Decorators

  • Caterers

  • Artists and performers

  • Photographers

  • Transportation providers

  • Event equipment suppliers

Payments or deposits made to third-party vendors may become non-refundable or subject to the vendor’s cancellation policy once the booking has been confirmed.

Approvals & Changes

Event themes, decoration designs, menus, guest requirements, schedules, and logistics should be approved by the client in writing before execution.

Any changes requested after approval may result in:

  • Additional costs

  • Changes to timelines

  • Vendor modification charges

  • Availability-related limitations

Last-minute changes, particularly on the event day, will be subject to operational feasibility and may not always be possible.

5. Pricing & Additional Charges

All service prices are based on the scope and requirements communicated at the time of booking.

Additional charges may apply for requests outside the originally agreed scope, including:

  • Additional rooms

  • Extra guests

  • Additional meals

  • Additional decoration

  • Extended event hours

  • Additional transportation

  • Special menu requirements

  • Last-minute changes

  • Additional equipment or services

  • Government or third-party charges

Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the client wherever reasonably possible before execution.

6. Limitation of Liability

Heaven and Heritage works to provide reliable travel and event services; however, certain services depend on government authorities, hotels, resorts, transport providers, vendors, weather conditions, and other third parties.

Heaven and Heritage shall not be held responsible for losses, delays, cancellations, interruptions, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Natural disasters

  • Heavy rainfall

  • Floods

  • Landslides

  • Extreme weather

  • Forest fires

  • Sudden forest zone closures

  • Government restrictions

  • Government or VIP movement orders

  • Strikes

  • Road blockages

  • Traffic disruptions

  • Civil unrest

  • Operational failures of third-party providers

  • Hotel or resort operational issues

  • Government system failures

  • Other unforeseen circumstances

Where possible, Heaven and Heritage will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with alternative arrangements.

7. Wildlife & Safari Disclaimer

Wildlife sightings, including sightings of tigers, elephants, leopards, deer, birds, or other animals, are not guaranteed.

Safari routes, zones, timings, vehicle movements, and wildlife activity are controlled by natural conditions and forest authorities.

Heaven and Heritage does not guarantee any specific wildlife sighting or photographic opportunity.

8. User Conduct & Legal Compliance

All customers and guests are expected to behave responsibly and comply with applicable Indian laws, forest regulations, hotel policies, and safety instructions.

While visiting protected forest areas, guests must not:

  • Litter or pollute the environment

  • Feed or disturb wildlife

  • Shout or create excessive noise

  • Enter restricted areas

  • Attempt to approach or chase animals

  • Disobey forest officials

  • Damage vegetation or property

  • Engage in unsafe or prohibited activities

Any violation of applicable laws, forest regulations, or safety instructions may result in termination of services without refund, subject to applicable rules and circumstances.

9. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, prices, availability, hotel facilities, safari rules, government regulations, operating schedules, and other service details may change without prior notice.

Images displayed on the website may be representative and may not always depict the exact room, venue, vehicle, decoration, or service provided.

10. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the service booked and the applicable policies of government authorities, hotels, resorts, vendors, and other third-party service providers.

Customers are advised to review the applicable cancellation and refund terms before making payment.

Government safari permits and third-party vendor deposits may be subject to specific non-refundable policies.

Where a refund is approved, processing time may depend on the relevant payment gateway, bank, government department, hotel, resort, or third-party vendor.

11. Privacy & Customer Information

Customer information collected during booking or enquiry may be used for processing reservations, coordinating services, communicating with customers, and fulfilling legal or operational requirements.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including names, contact details, identification information, guest details, and event requirements.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising from or relating to the services provided by Heaven and Heritage shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Nainital / Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

Heaven and Heritage reserves the right to modify, update, or amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any updated version will be published on this website with the revised effective date.

Customers are encouraged to review the Terms & Conditions before making a booking.
