At Heaven and Heritage, we aim to keep our booking, payment, cancellation, and refund policies transparent and easy to understand.

Since our services include government-managed wildlife safari permits, hotel and resort reservations, and destination wedding and event management involving multiple third-party vendors, different terms may apply depending on the service booked.

By making a booking or payment with Heaven and Heritage, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable terms outlined below.

1. Booking & Payment Terms

Safari Bookings – Jeep & Canter Safari

Advance Required: 100% advance payment

Full payment is required before the safari permit processing begins.

Safari permits are subject to availability and the applicable rules of the Uttarakhand Forest Department and other relevant authorities.

Payment of the booking amount does not independently guarantee a permit until the permit has been successfully generated and confirmed.

Resort & Hotel Bookings

Advance Required: 50% of the total booking amount

The remaining 50% balance must be paid before check-in unless a different payment schedule has been specifically agreed in writing.

Room availability and booking confirmation are subject to the policies and availability of the respective hotel or resort.

Destination Weddings & Events

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the standard payment schedule is:

• 30% Token Amount: Payable at the time of booking

• 50%: Payable 45 days before the event

• 20%: Payable on the event day

Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule to ensure continued confirmation of venues, accommodation, vendors, decoration, catering, entertainment, and other event services.

We may accept payments through:

• Credit Cards

• Debit Cards

• UPI

• Net Banking

• Bank Transfer

• NEFT

• IMPS

• RTGS

Payment processing may be subject to the applicable terms and charges of the relevant bank or payment service provider.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

A. Safari Bookings – Jeep & Canter Safari

Forest Permit Cancellation

Once a safari permit has been successfully generated, the permit amount is generally non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable, subject to the applicable rules of the Uttarakhand Forest Department and Corbett Tiger Reserve authorities.

Heaven and Heritage cannot override or modify government-issued permit cancellation rules.

Failed Permit Processing

If Heaven and Heritage is unable to process a requested safari permit because of:

• Government quota exhaustion

• Non-availability of permits

• Government system failure

• Technical issues with the official booking system

• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

the eligible amount paid for the permit may be refunded after deduction of ₹500 as an administrative/service facilitation charge per permit.

Refund eligibility remains subject to the actual booking status and applicable government rules.

Safari Zone Closure & Weather Conditions

If safari operations are suspended, restricted, or cancelled by the Corbett Tiger Reserve / Forest Department because of heavy rainfall, extreme weather, forest conditions, safety concerns, government orders, or other official reasons, any refund will be governed by the decision and refund policy of the relevant government authority.

B. Resort & Hotel Bookings

Hotel and resort cancellation requests are calculated according to the date on which Heaven and Heritage receives the customer’s written cancellation request.

Important Hotel Cancellation Conditions

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

• Refunds may also be subject to the specific cancellation policy of the respective hotel or resort.

• Any non-refundable amount imposed by the property may be deducted from the eligible refund.

• Additional services already consumed or confirmed may not be refundable.

• Failure to arrive at the property without prior cancellation will be treated as a No-Show.

C. Destination Wedding & Event Planning

Destination weddings involve advance commitments to venues, decorators, caterers, artists, accommodation providers, transportation companies, and other vendors.

Token & Advance Payments

The initial 30% booking/token amount and advances paid or committed to third-party vendors are generally non-refundable, as these amounts may be used immediately to secure venues, services, materials, accommodation, and vendor availability.

Event Cancellation

If the client cancels the event less than 45 days before the scheduled wedding/event date, all payments made up to that date may be forfeited to cover vendor commitments, cancellation charges, operational expenses, and other losses.

Vendor Cancellation Charges

Where a third-party vendor has its own cancellation or refund policy, the applicable vendor terms may also apply.

Any refund, if available, will be determined after considering:

• Amounts already paid to vendors

• Vendor cancellation charges

• Venue cancellation charges

• Accommodation cancellation charges

• Materials already purchased

• Services already performed

• Other non-recoverable expenses

3. General Refund Guidelines

Refund Processing Timeline

Eligible refunds will generally be processed and credited to the customer’s original payment method within 7–10 business days from the date of official cancellation approval.

Actual crediting time may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway, card issuer, or financial institution.

Written Cancellation Notice

All cancellation requests must be submitted officially in writing.

Phone calls alone may not be treated as formal cancellation requests. The cancellation will be considered effective from the date the written request is received and acknowledged, where applicable.

Refund Calculation

Where a refund is applicable, the refund amount will be calculated according to the policy applicable to the specific service booked.

Government charges, payment gateway charges, administrative fees, vendor cancellation charges, and other non-refundable amounts may be deducted where applicable.

4. Force Majeure & Unavoidable Circumstances

Heaven and Heritage shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, interruptions, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These may include:

• Heavy rainfall

• Floods

• Landslides

• Extreme weather

• Forest fires

• Natural disasters

• Forest zone closures

• Government restrictions

• Government orders

• Road blockages

• Strikes

• Civil unrest

• Traffic disruptions

• Safety-related restrictions

• Operational failures by third-party providers

Where services are affected by such circumstances, Heaven and Heritage will make reasonable efforts to assist customers with available alternatives, subject to availability and applicable third-party policies.

5. Policy for Third-Party Services

Heaven and Heritage may facilitate services provided by independent hotels, resorts, safari operators, transportation providers, event vendors, caterers, decorators, artists, and other third parties.

The cancellation and refund policies of such providers may apply in addition to this policy.

Customers are advised to review the applicable terms before confirming a booking.

6. Policy Updates

Heaven and Heritage reserves the right to update or modify this Booking & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be published on heavenandheritage.com with the revised effective date.
